Youth Scavenger Hunt and Progressive Supper
Nov. 13, 2011
The youth had their yearly scavenger hunt and progressive supper taking them all over Jefferson. Their tasks included team push ups, finding a chia pet, singing with strangers, and eating packets of ketchup to name a few. They had a great time as they stopped at different host homes to enjoy some great food!
Youth Camping Trip
Sept. 23-25, 2011
The youth went to Amicalola State Park for their annual camping trip. They spent time enjoying God's creation, fellowship with one another, and some moments for spiritual reflection. They had a great time as we grew closer to one another in love.
Lake Hartwell Retreat
July 29-30, 2011
The youth went to Lake Hartwell to kick off the new school year. This was the first event for the rising six graders. We spent Friday night getting to know the new youth group and Saturday playing on the lake. Everyone had a blast!
Student Life Camp I
July 5-9, 2011
The youth went to Lee University in Cleveland, TN, for Student Life Camp. The speaker was Ed Newton and the worship leader was Todd Agnew. We had great time worshiping God, building community, and playing games. We also came back as sponsors for a Compassion International child from Peru.

Stars and Strikes
May 26, 2011
The youth went to Stars and Strikes in Dacula, GA. We enjoyed a game of laser tag, the arcade, bowling, food, and fellowship. This was the first event to kick off our summer for 2011. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again sometime in the future.
Six Flags
April 9, 2011
During Spring Break the youth took a trip to Six Flags. It was a fun trip to relax and enjoy each other's company. We played games, rode roller coasters, and ate way too expensive food. The youth had a great time!
March Mission Madness Photos
FBC Marietta Mar. 25-27, 2011
The youth went to FBC Marietta with about 300 other youth and adults who sacrificed their weekend to be the loving hands and feet of Jesus. The youth split up into separate groups where they helped paint a homeless shelter, did yard work, and worked on the foundation of a shed.
Monthly Birthday Pictures
In 2010, the third Sunday evening of each month, the youth who have a birthday that month got to throw a pie into Justin's face. This monthly event was a fun way for the youth to celebrate each other's life while having fun at Justin's expense.

The youth participated in scavenger hunt and progressive supper all around Jefferson. The night was a time of fellowship and healthy competition. We had a great time and took some video of the event, click here to see it on Youtube.
Six Flags over Georgia
October 23, 2010
Youth trip to Six Flags Over Georgia for a day of fun fellowship during Fright Fest. We had a wonderful time enjoying each other's company and enjoying some crazy awesome activities.
Youth Camping Trip at Turner's Corner
September 24-25, 2010
Youth Camping Trip at Turner's Corner just north of Cleveland, GA. We had a wonderful time playing games, eating some great food, swimming and rock sliding in a creek, just hanging out, and doing a couple short devotionals. We went in remembrance of Sukkot- a Jewish feast that points to Christ gathering his believers together one day as well as remembering the forty years of wondering in the Sinai peninsula after escaping Egypt.
Six Flags over Georgia

We came, we saw, we conquerored. We enjoyed the fast rides, the expensive food, and our last time to hang out before school started back up.
World of Coke and GA Aquarium
June 23, 2010
The youth went to the World of Coke followed by the Georgia Aquarium. We spent the time there enjoying Coke products and then marveling at some of God's beautiful creations.
The youth went to Panama City, Florida for our summer camp. The youth had a blast hanging out on the beach, playing games, and most of all worshiping God. We spent time in small group Bible studies discussing defining moments in the life of people in the Bible and defining moments in our lives. Our church won the Volleyball Tournament, a relay game, and introduced the Globonauts sensation. Click here to see the Globonauts on Youtube.
March Mission Madness Photos
FBC Dalton Mar. 19-21, 2010
The youth participated in March Mission Madness, an event dedicated to serving others. The youth went to First Baptist Church Dalton, GA, where over 600 youth donated a collective 4000 hours in service to the Dalton community. We were blessed to have our own Family Minister to be the speaker, Rev. Erica. We had a great time worshipping God, fellowshipping, and doing mission work for God's Kingdom.
