Adult Sunday School
College and Young Adult
The College and Young Adult class is a wonderful Sunday school class for college students, recent graduates, newly married, and new families. Our Sunday school atmosphere is laid back where we use software based lessons to further our knowledge of Christ. Our group is small, intimate, and inviting. We also engage in social events outside the church where we enjoy each other's company and fellowship. Once a quarter we participate in community service projects to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We warmly invite anyone who wants to come and be involved with our group.
Adult I
Adult I is a great Sunday school class for anyone in their 30s and 40s who wants to be actively involved in the missions and ministries of First Baptist Church of Jefferson. We have two teachers who have worked for many years in the community, have raised their children at FBC, and now have grandchildren. Their personal experiences, combined with excellent Biblical teaching, help us to gain a perspective on how God wants us to live as we advance in our careers and expand our families. In addition to serving on various committees within our church, members of Adult I are active in a variety of ministries: the food bank, children's Sunday school and church, the deacon board, and youth ministries. Also, each Christmas we sponsor a local family in need for the holiday season; we take these opportunities as needs arise throughout the year as well. Finally, the members of Adult I also minister to each other through active prayer and regular social events. If you want to be inspired and involved, join us in Adult I!
