By Faith: Heritage Building Future

In 2005, the First Baptist Church entered into a 3 year Stewardship Campaign under the Vision of "By Faith."  It is our hope to build the faith of the church and community as we seek to develop faith in each individual and enrich the faith of the overall church.   Our church has been built on sacrifice in year's past.  It is equal sacrifice (not gifts) that each member is called to contribute.

Though the stewardship funds will be used to build a new sanctuary, fellowship hall and Sunday School space, the campaign is not about mortar and brick, but about building people.  In more than one way, It is our intention to make room for people to come and participate in worship, fellowship, Bible study and service as part of First Baptist Church.   Such a vision requires sacrifice. 

In the effort to Build on our heritage of faith and inspire faith and ministry for years to come, the church has embraced a three year plan as part of the "By Faith"  vision.  Each year's emphasis has individual and corporate perspective.  Ministries are being developed to implement each year's theme and enrich the total church life.  This is a God sized vision that challenges us to step out and walk with God "By Faith."
