Katie Fulcher has been a dedicated part of the preschool community for many years, first joining as a parent in 2009 when her daughter attended the three-year-old class. Her passion for early childhood education led her to begin working at the preschool in 2011, and she has faithfully served as Preschool Director since 2017.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Development, with an emphasis in Education, from the University of Georgia. With both professional experience and a personal connection to the program, Katie is deeply committed to creating a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where young children can grow and thrive. She feels called to this role and is passionate about helping children experience God’s love while building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

A longtime resident of Jefferson for over 30 years, Katie values strong community ties and family life. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Chad Fulcher, since 2004, and together they have two children, Emma Kate and Tyler. As a family, they enjoy supporting their children’s activities, especially the Jefferson Dragons football and track team.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, spending time with family, and visiting the lake and the mountains.
